I first created a Día de Muertos bat appliqué design in 2017. Due to the time it takes to complete this hand embroidered design, only a few are made each season. The bat appliqué wall charm/ornament is 7 inches wide. The completed bat incudes a cotton loop for hanging.
About this handmade item
Since this item is meant to be hung, the design is visible on one side. Grey felt was used for the back. The felt used for this hand stitched items is either standard crafting felt of acrylic fibers and /or 100% polyester fiber made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles.
